Family owned and operated business serving the Hampton Roads area since 1993. Looking to find an experienced lead electrician to run Commercial and Industrial projects. We do not do residential work.
(Apprentices are also needed as well)
Electrician Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Lead a crew and collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
- Keep accurate records of work performed
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician. Journeyman or Master card a plus.
- Proficient in building, installing, and troubleshooting electrical systems, conduit installations of all types, site work
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code), and electrical safety practices
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work
- Experience in commercial electrician work, including wiring for lighting, power distribution, and control systems
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
