Beach Electric LLC is seeking a Lead Commercial Electrician who can efficiently and safely run commercial jobs with a 5-man crew in Hampton Roads. You must meet qualifications to be considered.

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of commercial electrical experience
Must be able to complete commercial job from start to finish.
Must be able to read blueprints, map out job and supervise a 5-person crew to complete job on time and within budget.
Previous supervisory responsibilities required, in the form of identifying quality talent and developing growth in talent new to the Electrical trade.
Must have serious attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations.
Must have valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.
Must have reliable transportation to and from shop.
Responsibilities
Lead a crew of 3-5 electricians and helpers assigned to a project and determine work details/procedures
Become familiar with all work-related documents such as drawings, manuals and question requirements that are not clear or appear to be in conflict.
Must have expertise in conduit installation.
Must demonstrate thorough knowledge and skill of electrical type construction and apply hands- on supervision with effective leadership.
Train Electrical Apprentices to bring them up to speed with demands of specific electrical projects.
Maintain a good understanding of other foreman specialties such as labor, mechanical, concrete and civil as related to the electrical discipline.
Must be able to maintain a ready stock of material to ensure an uninterrupted work flow.
Maintain a working knowledge of the NEC.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work 40 hours per week
Physically able to lift 50+ lbs.
Ability to operate ladders and power tools safely
