Position offered for a mechanic to perform service and repairs on small boats and other related equipment. Skills desired include:
Service and repair of marine inboard and outboard engines
Installation and service of electrical components 12VDC and 110VAC
Ability to understand electrical schematics, fabricate and install wiring harnesses
Installation and service of hydraulic steering systems and controls,
Install, maintain and trouble shoot mechanical drive systems.
Install, maintain and trouble shoot marine specific components.
Service and repair various systems
Maintains all safety standards.
Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
Operates a wide variety of handheld and power-assisted tools and production fixtures.
assessing conditions of the boat and its components as well as conducting operational testing and quality inspections.
Transports boat using company provided vehicle to pick up and deliver boats to and from client locations.
Must be able to launch and recover boats for testing and evaluation.
Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.
