Busy local Class "B" contractor seeking full time skilled individual with a minimum of 4-5 plus years experience in residential remodel/repair projects. If you have experience in Kitchen, Bath remodels, deck builds, plumbing, drywall, siding, window, door installations etc., respond with your name/phone number and brief description of your skill level. Able to start work immediately when hired.
Basic requirements you must have:
1) Dependable transportation (no drop offs). Van or pick-up a plus.
2) Basic construction tools. (Specialty tools provided)
3) Clean background desired (not a disqualifier if you any prior convictions).
4) Able to work Mon - Fri 40 hr. week with no restrictions. No weekends.
5) Able to work off ladders and not afraid of heights (if needed).
6) Competitive Hourly pay offered based on skill level. (Payday every Friday.)
7) Have a checking or savings account for Payroll Direct Deposit. (No paper check or cash payments given).
8) Have all the documents required to legally work in the U.S. (Green Card, Social Security Number, etc.).
9) This is NOT a 1099 position. (All Federal/State deductions applied based on the exemption's claimed).
Most of the work is in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth areas (but we do work on the Peninsula sometimes).
Prefer applicant live on the Southside due to traffic issues coming from the Peninsula each morning.
