Drivers can average between 150-200stops based on delivery demands and time of year
Drivers must be able to:
- be able to read, speak and write English
- PASS DOT physical , criminal background check, drug screen, and DMV driving history background
check
- be able to complete and pass a road test
- be of legal status to work in the USA, we E-Verify
- have clean criminal record, no misdemeanors or felonies in the past 10 years
- Driving record must be accident and ticket free for the past 12 months
- be able to safely lift/carry up to 150 lbs with a hand truck
- pass Training to become a qualified driver
- have reliable transportation to and from work
- be on site at the terminal on time and ready to work each work day
- be able to climb stairs
- be able to work when it gets dark
- be able to do a lot of walking at a steady pace
- be able to adapt to situations to meet customers' needs
- know the importance of Safety, Security and Service Daily Duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform daily Pre & Post inspection on vehicle
- Efficiently pack vehicle for deliveries
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with operating
officer
- Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process
- Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
- Your truck must be operated safely at ALL times
