Diesel Mechanics (class A or B) maintains off-road Mack trucks and service vehicles around the mill site so our trucks can function safely and operate at top performance. Our Mechanics need to be versatile and have a working knowledge of electronic engines and be willing to lead others.Responsibilities:Knowledge of diesel engines (Freightliner/Mack)Must have their own toolsExperience in preventative maintenanceDiagnostic skillsChange tiresOrder partsOperate the vehicles when neededExperience with engine maintenance; lube, oil, and filterExperience with electronic enginesFamiliarity with spring and air suspension systemsFamiliarity with hydraulic systemsFamiliarity with air brake systemsMaintain a clean and safe working environment
