Summary of Position: Experienced&Real Estate Attorney&to join Legal Real Estate team supporting all aspects of real estate and construction, including leasing, acquisition, portfolio and lease administration.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

& &JD from accredited law school required
& &Member of, or eligible to become a member of the Virginia State Bar
& &At least 4 years experience as a practicing real estate attorney, including leasing experience (in-house or outside counsel). &Retail real estate experience a plus.
& &Experience dealing with high-volume transactions and leases. &Construction law experience a plus.

Responsibilities
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:&

& &Negotiate complex retail leases and related documents.
& &Provide ongoing legal support to in house leasing and construction team primarily responsible for new store leasing and construction.
& &Provide ongoing legal support for a portfolio of stores, including legal support for lease administration, lease accounting, and facilities management.
& &Provide legal support for real estate acquisitions and dispositions.
& &Provide legal support for real estate related disputes and litigation.
