You'll thrive in a fast-paced and diverse environment, enjoy flexible working arrangements, and work with a management team that prioritizes your career growth and development.The NISC IV program at Leidos is looking for a Strategic Planner!This position provides support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Power Services Group (PSG) Fuel Storage Tank (FST) Program under the National Air-Space Implementation Support Contract (NISC). The Planning Team provides program and financial management to sustain the FAA FST systems and to maintain and improve the overall quality, reliability, and availability of fuel to the NAS. The position requires frequent interface with FAA customer personnel, other contractor personnel, FAA GTIs, and other FAA customer representatives. This position requires strong business acumen with a thorough understanding of the customer mission, the customer organization and customer relations, and the ability to adapt to changing customer needs and requirements.We are seeking a talented and energetic candidate to work with the best and brightest employees around the country in creating innovative all-encompassing solutions for our programs. Serve as a Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) to achieve day-to-day objectives for FST Portfolio and facilitate major initiatives for program execution.

Facilitate, guide, develop and implement financial processes when working with a team of financial analysts.

Create and develop working financial models that focus on financial forecasting, contracts and budgetary trend analysis, for use by senior management in analyzing facilities and infrastructure projects.

Manage and execute complex specialized projects and development of financial systems to support a multimillion dollar program.

Mentor lower level professionals.

Identify areas of improvements, recommend solutions and support findings with comprehensive financial and technical analysis which yield significant improvements for the program in the short and long run.

Identify issues and areas of improvement and offer solutions and strategies for implementation.

Take a lead role on communication with internal and external customers, across multiple service areas and facilitate meetings and lead discussions towards mutual goals.

Play a lead role in performing multiple, varying, and complex assignments.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and minimum of 5 years relevant experience OR Masters with 2 years of relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience maybe accepted / considered in lieu of degree.

Ability to work well with others.

Ability to present ideas to diverse audiences.

Able to analyze large amount of data.

Prior experience with one or more of the following: strong finance, accounting, budget and program management skills.

Excellent Excel Skills (Example: Formulas, Pivot Table, VBA, etc).

Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Direct Government contract experience with solid knowledge of Government financial systems.

Working knowledge of facilities and infrastructure programs, FAA experience preferred.

Advanced MS office skills, (Word, Excel, PPT, Access).

FAA systems and cuff record knowledge.

Knowledge of Fuel Storage Tanks.
