DescriptionSAIC is managing an IT Service Management program for a US federal government agency to provide modern and secure enterprise IT infrastructure. The program delivers services to over 30,000 customers located throughout the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). Services will support the mission needs of the customer in multiple regional offices, field offices and data centers.OVERALL DESCRIPTION:SAIC is currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager Lead who will be responsible leading multiple concurrent projects related to Enterprise Data Center Consolidation, Networking, storage/computing, software development, or data center/cloud infrastructure. This position supports the US Army Corps of Engineers Revolutionary IT Services (USACE RITS) program.NOTE: This is a 100% virtual / work from home / remote position located anywhere in the CONUS.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage project activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance.
Execute the project to comply with approved functional and technical requirements.
Manage risk, customer relationships, matrixed technical resources and project management staff.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership.
Manage performance requirements to the program baseline and identify and analyze minor variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with the project management practices used at USACE including project updates and weekly status reports in ServiceNow for each project assigned.
Directly manage a team of 3-6 Project Managers.
QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more of related experience; PhD or JD and ten (10) years or more of related experience.BASIC REQUIREMENTS:SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of project management experience supporting IT projects.
Experience leading infrastructure projects related to Networking, storage/computing, software development, or data center / cloud infrastructure.
Must be an effective communicator, both orally and in writing, and be able to discuss technical project issues with all levels of customer management including C-suite level stakeholders.
The ideal candidate translates between the technical project engineers and management to gain the trust of the customer through timely and effective communications.
Ability to provide remote clear, accurate and timely communications within conference bridge environments and video collaboration systems with other program technical personnel, government overseers, and senior managers.
Must be able to operate with minimal direction for job duties, take personal responsibility, and have a passion to approach all aspects of the job with enthusiasm.
Ability and willingness to adapt and accept change with strong decision-making skills to complete projects successfully.
Strong personal computer & IT skill sets, including but not limited to MS Office, Teams, and Project management tools such as Microsoft Project, ServiceNow or others.
Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM highly desired.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: US Citizen with the ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance to start and maintain a Secret Clearance.Target salary range: $175,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
