JOB DESCRIPTIONSummary/ObjectiveDignitas is seeking a Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Engineer or Scientist that will support engineering analysis, modeling, testing, and software development as a part of Research and Development (R&D) activities as well as Operation and Maintenance (O&M) that examine Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) facilities/processes and Underground Facilities (UGFs) of interest. Engineers and scientists with expertise in fields such as Materials, Industrial, Chemical, Biological, Nuclear, Structural, Mechanical, or similar are needed.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Develop technologies designed to defeat or disrupt WMD, UGFs, and associated processes.
Develop models and assessments of WMD and underground systems and auxiliary support and supply systems.
Develop software tools to more effectively identify, examine, assess, model, defeat WMD and UGFs and processes.
Identify WMD and UGF vulnerabilities, tactics, defeat vectors, and systems or methods/procedures needed to cause disruption or defeat.
Test and validate defeat concepts for WMD and UGFs.
Integrating all source intelligence information to develop WMD and UGF characterizations.
Utilizing analytical tools to analyze and assess WMD and UGF processes and operations.
Using all-source intelligence, models, analysis reports, and sound engineering and science principles in identifying vulnerabilities and defeat opportunities for WMD and UGFs.
Desired Skills and Requirements
8+ years of experience solving engineering problems
Practical engineering and science knowledge and experience related to WMD and vulnerability analysis.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within or lead a team of peers, as well as excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Experience with commercial software for engineering and materials characterization and analysis
Modeling and simulation expertise with engineering analysis tools or similar
Military or defense-related experience and an understanding of counter-WMD operational planning and functional defeat of hard targets and underground facilities
Working knowledge of engineering, 3D modeling, and geospatial analytical tools to include AutoCAD, ArcGIS, MatLab, SketchUp, Skyline Software, RemoteView, or similar.
Able to produce clearly written technical analyses and briefings at levels comprehensible to an audience ranging anywhere from the layperson to senior-level government representatives, to subject matter experts.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in Engineering or Science related to Materials Science, Industrial, Chemical, Biology, Nuclear, Structural, Mechanical, or equivalent

An active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance and ability to pass a Counter-Intelligence polygraph is required.
