Growing Accounting & Tax prep firm in West Henrico seeking a Seasoned Bookkeeper/Accountant to work with small business clients in a professional environment. Will be responsible for a wide variety of business clients with their monthy and quarterly bookkeeping and payroll, including tax deposits and all payroll reporting.
Individual must be:
Highly proficient in Quickbooks Desktop as well as Quickbooks Online.
Proficient with the payroll reporting process using Quickbooks Desktop payroll
Be a quick study with new software and be willing to work in a paperless environment with the most recent technology
BE a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with a team in a sometimes fast paced environment with an emphasis on quality and accuracy.
Must have sound interpersonal, communication, organization and analytic skills.
Must have at least basic accounting course work, an associates degree in accounting or better is preferred. 3 years or more experience in a similar position preferred.
Experience with Individual tax prep and business schedules a plus.
