The Manager, IT Finance and Administration develops and maintains the IT Budget. This role is also responsible for IT vendor relationship management, IT procurement including negotiating contracts, administrative tracking of IT asset management, and Human Resources coordination for the IT team.
  • Develops annual IT Budget, request budget changes, ensure expense of the accounts managed do not exceed allocated budget
  • Leads and manages all phases of the IT procurement function
  • Responsible for the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware within the organization. This includes planning, monitoring, and recording software license and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts
  • Manages IT vendor activities and maintains both new and existing IT vendor relationships; includes identifying IT suitable vendors, negotiating with IT vendors to secure the best prices for products and services, and ensuring IT vendors fulfill their contractual obligations
  • Liaisons with the Legal team on any IT related contracts
  • Develop and maintain effective internal procedures to handle employee-related functions, support recruiting and retention efforts, on-boarding/off-boarding, events, newsletters and keep performance at peak levels. Must identifying problems, finding solutions, and nurturing job satisfaction.
  • Serve as a primary problem solver for any issues, roadblocks, and risks
  • Effectively create and deliver presentations and reports to management team, communicating status
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Experience developing team members to grow into more advanced roles and to aid succession planning
  • Manages resources and people processes (e.g., Performance Review, Career Development, Succession Planning, Salary Administration, Training, Staffing, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, BIT or related field
