Looking for a strong full stack developer with more backend focus on Node.js. Creating API in node.js. Express framework and connecting those APIs with the database.

This is a backend heavy with some frontend experience. Looking for 4+ yrs in software development building secure applications. Experience on AWS is required along with strong CI/CD pipeline experience (3+ years). Some experience on databases: SQL server and postgres.

AWS (At least 2-3 years of experience) Good experience required in EC2, Serverless, S3. Understanding on

• How to create EC2 instance.
• what are the attributes for EC2 instances
• how to do health check of API on database, Monitoring those APIs. IF API is returning a successful healthcheck or not.

Preferred:

• Prior cap one experience
• GraphQL would be ideal

They manage a fullstack application using React as frontend, Node.js as middleware and postgres as the database. GraphQL is intermediary layer between database and the Node.js. Current status is POC. Complete the current features , do QA validation and deploy in production. Down the line the role will involve building more screens, expand features for this application.
There is also a database piece wherein they are converting MS Access based database into SQL server. Creating SQLserver database on AWS and take it to well managed state. This is a initial 2-3 months project
When you create backend API. They will connect that API to some sort of database. Someone who have some experience connecting to Databases, using JDBC/ ODBC drivers and running the queries. Someone who knows how to Read replica of database, how does AWS do the backup of the database, who can create database using CFT files, connecting database through security group. running sql queries and functions.
