Must be available to work on Mondays and Tuesdays.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for someone with commercial kitchen experience to help with dishwashing and daily tasks in the kitchen. While this is a part-time position, there is a lot of room for growth and opportunity to take on more hours as we expand. We prep our meals on Mondays and Tuesday mornings and deliver on Tuesday afternoons.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Supporting our team of cooks and helping to maintain a clean and orderly environment by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, sweeping, mopping and taking out trash/recycling/composting.
-Kitchen organization- making sure shelves are clean and organized, checking in items as they arrive at the kitchen each week.
-Maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor with coworkers and other members of the kitchen.
-Light prep opportunities such as juicing citrus, picking herbs, washing vegetables
QUALIFICATIONS
-Experience working with commercial dishwashers
-A detail oriented team player with good communication skills
-Ability to maintain good physical condition, personal hygiene, attitude and work ethic
-Comfortable standing for long periods of time
-Able to lift 40 lbs
