FULL-TIME PRIVATE HOUSEKEEPER — RICHMOND, VA
$20/hour 32+ hours/week No experience required Training provided Monday–Friday, 9 AM–4 PM Occasional evenings or weekends for special events
Single male seeking a full-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment across several personal properties. This is a long-term position for someone who is service-oriented, reliable, detail-focused, and enjoys supporting a busy individual with high standards
Uniform is required and provided.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the home(s) to a hotel-quality standard. The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a private, quiet household with a single male Principal. There are no children and no pets in the home.
The Principal travels regularly and runs multiple businesses, so the home must remain clean, orderly, and prepared at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Home & Property Care
Cleaning multiple private residences used by the Principal
Changing air filters, taking out trash
Organizing closets, Flower arranging, making bed
Washing, drying, folding, ironing, and steaming clothing
Basic cooking for dinners including: pot roast, spaghetti, roasted chicken, tacos, meatloaf, and similar dishes
Running errands, grocery shopping, picking up/dropping off items
Cleaning and fueling the Principal’s car
Driving the Principal occasionally
Ordering household supplies online
Basic computer literacy required
REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift 30 pounds
Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but full training provided
Service-minded attitude and pride in maintaining a beautiful home
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to maintain privacy, discretion, and professional boundaries
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–4 PM
30–40 hours per week
Paid Time Off
Occasional evenings or weekends for entertaining or special events
Uniform provided
