We are a family owned, local restaurant (since 1987) looking for a hands-on assistant manager to join our team. We are a casual, full service restaurant also offering delivery and carry-out. You, along with other managers, are responsible for food quality/portion control, managing staff, maintenance of restaurant and ensuring our customers are happy. You must be a multi-tasker willing to jump in and help in the kitchen during rush times if necessary. Equally important, you must be skilled in developing your employees to perform their jobs well. MUST be a hands-on manager (no managing from the office) who can communicate well with employees and customers.
This hourly position is approximately 35 hours per week,with 2 days off. There is the possibility of a full-time/salaried position in the future. This position will work a little bit of everything: some day shift, some evenings, and weekends. The schedule is fairly consistent with some flexibility possible. If you have at least two years restaurant management experience, enjoy a fast-paced environment and have excellent references, we would love to hear from you.
