We are a gourmet, prepared food company looking for experienced, hard working kitchen help. This is a daytime position, weekday, no late nights. Position will require good knife skills, the ability to work quickly, efficiently and cleanly and take charge of every aspect of our grab and go case. Additionally responsibilities will include prep, batching & labelling and assisting Head Chef in many ways. . ServSafe a plus. The successful applicant will have attention to detail, and take pride in what they do. Above all they must LOVE good food and be able to recognize well balanced and creative dishes. No made to order items. Minimum of three years "from scratch" cooking experience required. We use only house-made sauces, dressings etc. Must be able to follow precise recipes, have attention to detail and accept direction well. Seeking flexible team player. Reliable transportation is a must.

Responsibilities:
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Follow food safety regulations and guidelines
- Cook meats to appropriate temperature, make dressings, sauces, soups following company recipes.
- Work directly with chef, assisting with production
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the culinary field or related industry is preferred
- Proficient knife skills for food preparation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
