The Stables at Belmont is currently looking for a PM line cook Tuesday through Saturday. We run a from scratch kitchen, with a dedicated and passionate team, and are seeking a talented culinary professional to grow their career with us.
Our Executive Chef leads a tight knit team to put out food that is creative yet rooted in tradition. Inspired by seasonal offerings of the region while also not shying away from utilizing global flavors and ingredients. We provide top notch dinner offerings to our loyal guests and want someone who is ready to help us push to meet our standards and continue to better our team.
The available position is a key component of our system and is relied on to work in tandem with other chefs to complete daily prep work, make recipes accurately and help finish any projects that are essential for the evening.
Shifts begin between 1 and 2pm and end between 10 and 11pm. You will work with our Sous Chefs to execute nightly dinner service, communicating with each other and with service staff to make sure all dishes are accurately prepared and timed correctly. Once you have learned the basics of our kitchen we will work to cross train you and achieve proficiency at all of the stations in the kitchen with the incentive of a raise in pay to coincide with the additional training. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in a professional kitchen and have reliable transportation, competent knife skills, and a handle on from scratch cooking techniques. $17/hr full time position.
