Could eventually become a full-time, live-in position for the right person.
Duties/Responsibilities (includes but not all inclusive)
- Responsible in assisting in all daily living such as toileting, bathing and brushing teeth.
- Teaching and showing her how to feed herself appropriately during mealtime.
- Administer medications as prescribed daily.
- Constant care and supervision in active daily living for safety (i.e., hurt or harm to herself).
- Interaction and supervision during her play activities (loves paper/plastic, but will try to eat them) must be vigilant at all times.
- Provide behavioral support and coping skills when behaviors occur (pulls hair that is close to and/or in her face, pull on your clothes (not paying attention to her).
Other Requirements include:
Passing a background check.
Ability to lift 100 lbs.
She is nonverbal and not ambulatory. I am looking for someone that has a heart for special needs adults, who is reliable, dependable and available to work a minimum of 3 (possibly 4 if you want) afternoon starting at 4 pm to 8 pm or 8:30 pm; available work days are Wed, Fri, Sat, and/or Sun are available (can also work flex-time on the weekends). You will need to pass a background check. MUST have you own reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, be fully vaccinated, a non-smoker, and a High School Diploma.
