Richmond family in Carytown area in need of an experienced caregiver for a special needs teenager. The child is Autistic, non-verbal and requires constant hands-on attention for all activities of daily living as well as behavior regulation.
Duties would include helping the child with expected tasks and activities, preparing light meals, bathing, dressing, toileting and possible light housework such as changing sheets/making bed. The right candidate will have verifiable references and work history with special needs people and be computer literate. The hours will vary week to week but typically begin from 6pm to 9pm weekday evenings with additional hours on the weekend not to exceed 41 hours total per week. The work schedule will change due to school schedule and holidays. The position pays $13.61 per hour and transportation is not provided. Non-smokers only please and the home has cats.
