We are currently expanding our team and looking for a full time self-motivated Dental Assistant who will treat our patients like family for our Roanoke Rapids NC office. Candidates must have good communication skills, be detail oriented, organized, efficient, and work well with others, in addition to exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
⢠Assist the doctor with all dental procedures
⢠Proper procedure setup and sterilization
⢠Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well
as transcribe doctor notes in patient chart
⢠Verify patient health history (basic health review, medications, understanding impact with dentistry) and document appropriately in patient chart
⢠Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
⢠Follow OSHA and company safety policies and procedures
â¢Additional task as need throughout the practice
Qualifications:
⢠Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
⢠Current radiography and Dental Assistant certification as required by state
⢠Dentrix experience preferred
â¢Scheduling
⢠Knowledge and understanding of dental terminology enough to perform job successfully
⢠Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor
⢠Excellent customer service and communication skills
⢠Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
⢠Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs as required
