Working under direct supervision of a dentist for treatment procedures.Taking and developing diagnostic dental radiographs. Reviewing/recording patient's medical history (medications, surgeries, etc). Taking height, weight, blood pressure and pulse readings.Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after treatment. Providing patients with instructions for care following appointments. Reinforcing patients' appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health and increase longevity of oral appliance. Performing record keeping tasks that often require the use of a personal computer. Use of EMR software for recording patient visits/encounters, sending interfax correspondence,and uploading diagnostic images. Provide direct patient care by taking using intra oral scanner, reviewing sleep study results, delivering oral appliances, providing continuing care for patients by way of follow up visits. Adjust oral appliances as needed. Advance oral appliances as needed. Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance. Part time/temporary could lead to full time. M-W 7:30 to 5:00 for 60 days to start.
