Full service veterinary clinic that is looking for an organized and enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant. Are you hard working and dependable? Part-time position, with full-time potential for the right candidate, available for a Veterinary Assistant with 1-2 years experience. Job duties include assisting veterinarians, communication with clientele, running lab work, ICU and Isolation patient care/monitoring, surgical preparation/monitoring. Additionally, responsibilities will include bathing, cleaning, feeding, and walking patients. Applicant must be able to lift up to 40 lbs by themselves. Hours are Monday-Saturday, with additional boarding pet care on Sundays.
This position is for a highly organized individual, possessing excellent customer service skills, and is available for a flexible work schedule. Pay is based on experience and education level. Part-time and Full-time benefits are available.
