Orby TV is a prepaid, no-contract satellite television service available in the 48 contiguous United States. We are a low-cost TV option for consumers who are seeking an alternative to high-priced TV services and are not satisfied with streaming video products. Customers receive subscription packages via satellite and local free-to-air channels with an antenna attached to the satellite dish.
We are looking for experienced satellite technician contractors & installation companies to fulfill residential installations for Orby TV in the Richmond, Norfolk, and Newport News areas.
We’re searching for hard working, reliable, honest techs with a good attitude and good customer service skills.
Must be able to maintain your own schedule, duties will include but are not limited to:
Fulfill installations and service in the agreed service regions.
Perform quality satellite TV installations for up to four rooms that must pass on-site activation and photo audit.
Complete service calls for technical escalations, including troubleshooting and fixing issues with satellite system
Communicate with each customer to confirm appointments, during installation, and after installation if problems arise
Maintain a professional demeanor and attitude towards the customer at all times
Requirements:
Must have at least two years satellite installation experience
Must have reliable truck, van or SUV with valid driver’s license and insurance
Must provide all tools (i.e. 28’ ladder, concrete/foam, approved coaxial cable, clips, etc. to complete the jobs)
Must be able to work in the United States.
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
Must be drug-free and willing to take a drug test
Must have good work ethic and social/communication skills
Must be willing to become an authorized Orby TV installer, which includes signing an Orby TV agreement, providing proof on insurance of $1M with Orby TV named as insured, current W9, and bank ACH information.
