Glen Allen Grounds Management, LLC specializes in residential and small commercial grounds management, landscape construction, hardscaping, and outdoor living spaces such as retaining walls, patios, walkways, fireplaces, etc.
We are seeking experienced & motivated individuals to lead or be a part of one of our grounds maintenance crews. You will be responsible for the day to day work that the company has on schedule. This work includes, but is not limited to, mowing, line trimming, mulching, planting, pruning, brush & leaf removal, and minor irrigation maintenance. Must be able to operate a vehicle and carry on the day to day schedule without supervision.
We are seeking to fill the following positions:
Lawn Maintenance Foreman/crew member
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years lawn maintenance experience (required)
- Basic knowledge of turf and plant material
- Able to operate a variety of lawn equipment including walk behinds, ride on mowers, string trimmers, blowers, etc. (required)
- Able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Dependable, Reliable, hard working
- Ability to provide your own transportation (Required)
- Possess a valid driver's license (Required)
Other duties include, but not limited to:
- Maintaining a fleet of equipment
- Washing equipment, trucks, and trailers
- Picking up supplies
- Maintaining a safe work environment
- Attention to detail
- Customer interaction
