Steel Services, Inc., a family-owned metals distributor since 1946, seeks qualified candidates for full-time positions for our Richmond/Ashland location. The applicant must be dependable and willing to work a set shift. Helpers and Equipment operators with experience in operating band saws, angle master and CNC burning machine are needed. Prior metal work experience preferred but not required.
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:30pm -11:00pm
3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 11:00pm - 7:00am
Some over time required on both shifts
Experience with below desired but not required:
- Prior metal work experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read a tape measure - HIGHLY IMPORTANT
- Forklift (not required - will train)
- Math skills - REQUIRED - ability to measure and confirm piece counts
- Dependability HIGHLY IMPORTANT
