Seeking construction and remodeling expert with high level of experience, for dedicated commercial and residential repair and remodeling service.
We are not looking for a handyman, or a jack of all trades, we want someone with a deep knowledge of all things construction. We want someone that can identify structural problems, someone that will get in crawl space, do the dirty jobs, not afraid to break a sweat, someone not afraid to work that doesn't complain. Someone that has dependable transportation to get to and from jobs.
Must have own tools (most things required okay if you’re missing one or two things or don't have some specialized tools, and must have own transportation)
About us:
We are a growing property maintenance outfit with many years of experience booking jobs for contractors. We do it all from the simplest to the most complicated, should be well versed in most of the following, the more skills you have the more we will consider you.
Construction skills needed:
- Plumbing (snaking drains, replacing trenched lines, plumbing in new bathrooms, replacing pipes behind walls)
- Crawlspace repairs (including vapor barriers, crawlspace encapsulation, sump pumps, etc)
- Mold remediation
- Roof repairs
- Bathroom remodels
- Ceramic and porcelain tile
- Tub to shower conversions (vice versa)
- Fence repairs and new builds
- Deck repairs and new builds
- Siding (all types)
- Painting interior and exterior
- Drywall install and finishing
- Structural repairs (to include complicated processes like lifting properties, sistering joists, replacing girders, etc)
- Electrical knowledge and skills are a plus
- Flooring projects all types
- Gutter repairs (ability to do new installs a plus)
We pretty much do it all. We have ongoing relationships with both high volume property managers, and commercial facilities managers to keep you busy, and do an extensive amount of advertising.
Responsibilities:
Be able to use field management mobile apps to leave notes for back office, take pictures, etc
Accurately provide labor and materials details for estimating purposes, you will have to go out and look at jobs so that we can bid them. And will leave notes in our field management software, which will be downloaded to your phone through an app, that same app will notify you when scheduled for jobs or estimates
Complete all work to customers satisfaction, we expect you to leave us with happy customers
Advise customers on construction processes, do walkthroughs with them as necessary to ensure ongoing satisfaction
Communicate with back office on job details
Possess very strong attention to detail
Resolve customer service issues on site, our back office will help with this part as well you can always reach out if there is a problem
Must be okay with driving up sixty miles from your home as you will be assigned to a service area of up to sixty miles, bonuses available if willing to travel further
Show up on time, be punctual and dependable
Be able to take pictures that show all work your doing, before the work is started, during the time the work is being done, and after the work is completed
Class c licensed and insured contractors preferred but will help with licensing and insurance overtime for the right individuals
Compensation:
$34 p/h plus 0.43 cents per mile mileage reimbursement (first thirty days probationary period)
$36 p/h plus 0.43 cents per mile mileage reimbursement (after thirty days, up to sixty days probationary period)
$40 p/h after sixty days 0.43 cents per mile mileage reimbursement (after sixty days probationary period)
