Owner needs an assistant to learn the business and take over daily operations as described below. The business is small but technical. Owner handles quoting, selling. The following experience is important: QuickBooks or similar accounting / MRP system using bills of materials (or good general PC skills). Experience with mechanical and electrical assemblies and components. Willing to learn the business from the bottom up and perform many different functions. Strong ability / desire to organize and streamline business processes. Able to adapt to changing work requirements. Light mechanical assembly required. Assembly of kits from components and packing for shipment is crucial to learn the business. You will work directly for the owner. Part time hours would best be afternoons (1-5pm weekdays) but will consider your availability. Full time is possible/preferred. Relaxed, diverse environment, but days go fast. Lot's to learn.
