We are a growing auto upholstery business passionate about quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated Assistant Office Manager who loves cars and enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:
The Assistant Office Manager will primarily manage the front-office operations, interacting with customers and supporting the daily workflow. This role also involves working in the back shop, assisting with projects, organizing inventory and working with hand tools when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone
Create invoices and process payments
Order materials and monitor each order from placement through delivery to ensure timely receipt. Manage returns if needed.
Catalog incoming packages and maintain organized inventory and workspaces.
Assist in light shop tasks as needed, including moving materials (up to 50 lbs) and using basic tools
Support the team in maintaining an efficient workflow between front office and the back shop
Qualifications:
Enjoy working with cars and automobiles
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light physical work
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
Comfortable using basic tools and learning shop processes
