Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to support our operations in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will focus on overseeing the core functions of the company and optimizing internal functions, processes and systems, while ensuring the efficient and effective management of critical administrative, financial, and system-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence
Oversee and streamline business operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Implement process improvements and technology solutions to optimize operational performance, in line with strategic objectives of the company
Collaborate with the President to ensure alignment of operational plan and performance with the corporate objectives and strategy
Manage office supply and IT vendors
Account Management
Act as the point of contact for the organization and field customer calls
Act as an interface with key accounts to address any critical issues when needed
Financial:
Collaborate with Bookkeeper to provide documentation through archiving and data-entry
Maintain oversight and access to key operating financial accounts to execute decisions made by leadership
HR management:
Manage overall talent management value chain (e.g., hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, retention, offboarding, etc.)
Collaborate with the President to develop and execute talent management-related initiatives that are in line with company objectives
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and enable teams with processes, systems and tools to achieve business objectives
Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment, promoting professional growth and a culture of continuous improvement
Provide infrastructure for people development through documented resources
Manage performance assessment process and system and ensure adoption by teams

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in the cable installation or construction industry, with at least2years in a managerial role focused on internal operations.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Proficient in financial management, budgeting, and process optimization.
Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
Results-oriented with a track record of driving operational efficiency and quality control.
Strong computer skills, including expertise in system administration and IT management.
Salary:
$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
