Summary:
The IT Project Manager oversees and manages multiple technology projects impacting security to ensure deliverables are coordinated to support successful implementations using multiple types of project management frameworks and methodologies (such as Agile, Scrum or Kanban); serves as the primary liaison between technology staff, product owners, and business sponsors to fully define the requirements and software specifications to ensure the desired outcome and value for all technology deliverables; collaborates with project teams and technical teams to support continued improvement and delivery through service and product lifecycles.
Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of multiple projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with identified partners
  • Create and maintain project documentation
  • Meet to take detailed briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Identify appropriate parties for project tasks based on roles, strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Develop project plans to be shared with other directorates
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
Experience required:
  • Bachelors in Information Technology or related or equivalent in experience.
  • 6+ years of Project Management experience
  • Cyber Security background
  • PMP Certification
