Job Description:
The Electrical Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of electrical projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role involves managing a team of electricians, coordinating with project managers, and maintaining project schedules. You will also ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise and lead a team of electricians in rough-in, trim-out, and other electrical installations
-Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
-Ensure all work is performed under local, state, and federal electrical codes
-Maintain project timelines and meet production goals
-Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on the job site
-Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and other trades to ensure project progress
-Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment
-Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and project status
-Conduct inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman or in a similar supervisory role
-Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and building codes
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
-Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
-Valid electrical license preferred
-OSHA certification is a plus
