Our company is looking for a HVAC Estimator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors:
Become proficient with all product offerings, estimating, and e-commerce software tools:
Create quotes and respond to inbound queries and request:
Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products:
Review mechanical drawings for incoming quote requests:
Understand scope of HVAC work to bid:
Communicate with the engineering department of new and current projects:
Prepare job take offs.
Requirements:
Knowledge of commercial/residential HVAC/Mechanical contracting:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills:
Ability to negotiate effectively:
Knowledge of bidding software:
Strong organizational skills, flexibility and ability to prioritize work assignments:
Ability to develop budgets and timelines:
Multi-tasker and Organized:
Great customer service and a team attitude:
Attention to detail an asset:
3/5 years' experience in HVAC estimating
Works well on own or in a team environment:
Self-starter with strong work ethic:
Knowledgeable in building and construction:
