Overview
KRS Holdings, a leading residential property management company headquartered in Richmond VA is seeking a highly skilled residential plumber with experience teaching others to develop and deliver hands-on training sessions to our maintenance technicians. This is a contract job, so we are willing to work with you to find mutually agreeable times to schedule training sessions, each of which would last roughly half a day. Our goal is to provide at least 2 half-day training sessions for our employees, which will require multiple sessions of each class to work everyone through the material.
Skills to Train On:
Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
Troubleshooting, repairing and installing gas and electric hot water heaters
Troubleshooting, repairing and installing manifolds, tub drains
Use of a ProPress
Sweating Pipes
Clearing blockages
Utilizing hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks
Conducting routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems
Responsibilities
Work with us to develop a class outline and structure to deliver training in the most effective manner (location, number of students, materials, etc.)
Work with us to develop a schedule to deliver 4 hour sessions over the next two months
Observe students demonstrating their skills to determine if they have achieved mastery and give feedback to the students and to the company on their performance
Requirements
Proven experience as a residential Plumber
Valid Virginia Plumbing license is highly desired
Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and components
Demonstrated experience training others in plumbing
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
Excellent communication skills to teach and coach technicians to mastery
