Atlantic Coast is now hiring Construction Laborers!
Looking for qualified candidates to preform various skilled tasks that are associated with heavy highway construction.
Laborers will be expected to shovel dirt, stone and asphalt. Must be able to use various tools such as shovel, brooms, pick, mattock, ax, brush hook, rake, hammer, saw, pneumatic hammer/drill, tamps (both manual and power driven), concrete saw, sledge hammer and other tools associated with manual labor. Applicant must ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures, and use appropriate tools and equipment for each task.
Laborer must be physically active, job requires stretching, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, throwing, walking, standing, reaching, and squatting. Must be able to lift 75 lbs, and walking or standing may occupy the entire day. Overtime work is required.
