Accounts Receivable Manager Requirements:
3-4+ years of progressive accounts receivable/billing experience
At least 2 years of supervisory experience
Bachelors degree in Accounting
Experience within the trucking industry is highly preferred
Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
Experience with Work Optima is preferred
Experience with Sage is a plus
Top-tier interpersonal and communication skills
High attention to detail; exceptional organizational and time management skills
Ability to work onsite 100% at their office in Roanoke, VA
Accounts Receivable Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee the billing process for delivered loads, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Verify and process paperwork from drivers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete
Manage cash applications and collections efforts
Supervise a team of 4 billing specialists
Ensure invoices are paid and funds are deposited accurately, contact customers regarding overdue invoices occasionally
Handle complex billing issues and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Monitor customer requirements and ensure compliance with various billing portals
Step in to back up the AP Manager as needed
