We are searching for an individual to provide part-time care for a young woman with physical and intellectual disabilities in Botetourt County. Paid training is provided that must be completed online and in person. This includes a 32-hour medication administration class (that can be completed online), first aid/CPR training, & other training. We are licensed by Medicaid & must be able to document care using a website each day while following various rules & medical protocols. The weekly schedule will be 5-10 hours per week, unless the primary caregiver is out of town, then overnight care will be expected. The right candidate will be given a competitive wage. The right person must be a great communicator, who is also very reliable, as this young woman needs support. Please do NOT apply if you –

· do not have dependable transportation,
· are disorganized,
· have too much going on in your own life,
· are impatient,
· overwhelmed easily,
· don’t like children,
· cannot work overnight hours occasionally,
· cannot handle constructive criticism, or
· hope to become rich caring for someone.
