Dental Hygienist
We have a comfortable modern office, that has a wonderful patient population, an enthusiastic team, and a sincere dentist dedicated to quality care. We have an immediate opening for a part time position for, Monday and Tuesday, for an outgoing hygienist with strong interpersonal skills. Experience is preferred and a current dental hygienist license is required. Our office is fully digital and we are a patient treatment driven practice that provides comprehensive care, fixed and removable prosthodontics and implant restorations. Office hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm with lunch from 1pm to 2pm.
Job Responsibilities
Patient screening procedures; such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, oral cancer screening,
head and neck inspection, periodontal charting, PSR recordings, dental charting with Eaglesoft, administer local anesthesia for
SC/RP.
Removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth
Applying fluoride varnish
Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Supply evaluation
Candidate should have the following qualifications
Associate or advanced degree in Dental Hygiene
State certification/license as required to work as a Dental Hygienist
X-ray Certified
One year or more of relevant experience in the dental industry preferred; but all qualified candidates will be considered
Possess a strong commitment to patient care, patient health and quality work.
