Command Center, Inc. in Roanoke is hiring General Laborers for various assignments throughout the area! These are temporary jobs with varying amounts of hours and schedules. Pay ranges between $8.00 and $10.00 per hour.
General Laborers are responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor at construction sites, which includes:
⢠Digging and demolition
⢠Loading, unloading, lifting
⢠Moving construction materials
⢠Assisting other workers on a job site
⢠Cleaning sites to eliminate possible hazards
⢠Maintaining a safe and cooperative working relationship with fellow coworkers
Requirements:
⢠Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
⢠Great attention to detail
⢠Ability to understand and carry out verbal and/or written directions
⢠Ability to work well independently under minimal supervision
⢠Personal steel-toe boots
