We are in need of an experienced construction worker with carpentry experience/skills to assist with various tasks on a COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION SITE in ROANOKE, VA
Candidates must have knowledge of:
Commercial construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and safety
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to operate forklift
- Must have basic tools (Pouch, Hammer, Tape Measure)
- Must be able to read a tape Measure
- Must be able to use a nail gun + other power tools
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and move moderately heavy objects
- Must be able to ascend/descend ladders
- Must have drivers license and vehicle!
CARPENTER HELPERs/CONSTRUCTION WORKERS must have PPE (Hard Hat, Safety Vest, Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Boots)
Must be willing and able to assist with all basic duties including sweeping, demolition, clean-up, loading and unloading materials from trucks
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG SCREEN AND BACKGROUND CHECK
