Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Seal Coat Laborer to join our team. As a Seal Coat Laborer, you will play a vital role in the application of seal coat materials to asphalt surfaces, ensuring durability and enhancing the appearance of our clients' properties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of asphalt surfaces for seal coating, including cleaning, patching, and repairing cracks and potholes.
- Support the application of seal coat materials using industry-standard techniques and equipment.
- Operate various hand tools and machinery such as blowers, brooms, and spray wands to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and maintenance of equipment.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to promote a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in asphalt maintenance, seal coating, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding tasks in diverse weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
