Job Description
Atlantic is seeking General Laborers to join our masonry crew in Lynchburg, VA. The general laborer is responsible for performing various non-specialty tasks at a construction site. These duties include loading or unloading materials, cleaning, sweeping, organizing, basic assembly, digging or filling holes, and assisting skilled tradespeople. This position requires lifting, bending, scooping, climbing, and handling of heavy construction materials.
Requirements
Verifiable work experience in construction
Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, carry, and handle materials of up to 50 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods
Must be able to pass a drug test (including marijuana)
Must pass federal background check
Must be punctual and have reliable transportation
Must have the physical stamina to work outside handling construction materials
Not afraid of heights.
