We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices, with the ability to work effectively on diverse projects. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure high-quality results in both residential and commercial settings.
Duties
Perform trim and frame carpentry, including the installation of doors, cabinets, and fixtures
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks
Engage in concrete forming, masonry, and stucco work as needed
Assist in roofing, siding, and flooring installation projects
Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation tasks
Participate in remodeling projects, including tile laying and drywall installation
Carry out heavy lifting and physical labor as required on construction sites
Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining safety standards
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in the following areas:
Construction estimating and project planning
Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols
Proficiency in woodworking techniques and fabrication skills
Knowledge of rebar installation and concrete work
Familiarity with maintenance person tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and caulking
Previous involvement in the restoration industry is highly desirable
