Gregory Pallet&Lumber has a busy trailer shop in Elliston, VA, and we're searching for a Trailer Shop Helper to join our team!
In this role, you'll assist our experienced technicians with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Moving trailers around the shop and lot
Cleaning and organizing the workspace
Performing basic maintenance like checking tire pressure and lights
Assisting with repairs and installations as needed
Painting trailers spray and by hand
Adhering Trailer Decals
Changing brake pads & drums
Bearing Replacement
Trailer flooring repair/replacement
Greasing etc.……
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Reliable and punctual: We need someone who shows up on time and is ready to work.
Eager to learn: No prior trailer experience is required, but a willingness to learn is a must!
Physically able: You'll be doing some lifting and moving and climbing including ladder work
A team player: You'll be working closely with our technicians.
Has a valid driver's license.
Must be willing to work outside in heat and cold
