BryceTech is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design, develop, and support integration solutions for mission-critical systems operating in distributed, time-sensitive environments. This role supports the design, deployment, security, and operation of containerized microservices, secure system integration and operational support during live and simulated events. Focus will be on integration engineering, API integration and traffic management, and operational readiness within existing platform environments.Key Responsibilities:Translate mission needs, technical direction, integration guides, requirement documents and operational feedback into actionable engineering work. This includes identifying technical tasks, dependencies, acceptance criteria, interfaces, risks, and recommended implementation approaches.Design, implement, and sustain secure DevSecOps pipelines and environments, including GitLab source control, CI/CD, issue tracking, and backlog management. Develop, modify, review and troubleshoot automation, infrastructure-as-code, scripts, configuration artifacts, and application code needed to support software delivery, system integration, data exchange, and operational readiness. Support deployments and updates across development, test, and production environments.Collaborate with software, platform, cybersecurity, programmatic, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, compliant, and useful system integrationSupport live or simulated exercises (e.g., JLVC) by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting, particularly during time-sensitive operational events and exercises. Work may be required outside normal working hours during events to ensure mission requirements are met. Produce technical documentation, integration diagrams, and after-action reports as required. Build and maintain GitLab workflow and engineering execution visibility by structuring epics, issues, milestones, board, branching strategies, merge-request standards, and release evidence.Provide clear technical status, blockers, risks, and decision recommendations to program leadership and integrated product teams.
