Job Description:
We are seeking reliable and dedicated Traffic Control Personnel to support heavy debris operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians around active work zones. This temporary position offers consistent work for 2 to 3 months, with a full-time schedule of 8+ hour shifts every day of the week.
Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain traffic control equipment, including cones, signs, and barricades, in areas with heavy debris operations.
Direct and manage traffic flow safely around work zones, particularly in areas with large equipment and debris removal activities.
Monitor traffic conditions and communicate effectively with team members and equipment operators.
Respond quickly to emergencies or traffic issues to maintain safety.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations specific to heavy debris operations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in traffic control or flagging, especially in heavy debris environments (preferred but not required).
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for long periods.
Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear instructions.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Valid flagger certification (preferred but not required; training may be provided).
Awareness of safety protocols for heavy equipment and debris zones (preferred).
