Part-Time Auto Body Technician (20-30 hours per week)

2+ years of auto painting and body work experience
Removes and refits damaged components and trim from vehicles.
Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface.
Strip, sands, masks, and protects parts that are not to be painted or coated.
Mixes and applies paint following manufacturer specifications.
Experience in metal straightening, block sanding, disassembly/reassembly, repair/replacement of parts, welding, alignment of panels, use of body filler and frame/unibody repair
Straighten and repair all body panels, using the highest quality levels of repair standards of metal finishing (aluminum and steel)
Possess the highest of skill to preform fiberglass and fiberglass composite component repairs
Physical stamina to kneel, bend and squat, as well as lift up to 50 pounds
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and balancing.
Valid driver’s license; Must have reliable transportation
Ability to properly complete light to heavy repairs, including structural work
I-CAR or ASE Certifications are a bonus
