Job Title: DSP EngineerJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking multiple DSP Engineers to join our team in support of projects focused on intelligence, the Department of Defense, and commercial sectors. This position is highly focused on developing algorithms, writing code, and algorithm implementation. This team plays a significant role in integrating and helping other components of the system come together, providing a great opportunity to learn how the system works holistically. The main program these engineers will support is a prime contract to build a state-of-the-art digital ground station for the US Navy, facilitating in-fill and ex-fill (transport and receive) communications. This involves both signal processing and some non-signal processing FPGA applications.Responsibilities
Work in a Sprint/Agile development environment
Write code to implement DSP algorithms (75% of time)
Develop algorithms (25% of time)
Model DSP algorithms in MATLAB
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering
4+ years of experience with DSP and FPGA (Verilog preferred) for implementing DSP algorithms
Experience with GNU Radio or X-Midas
Experience with MATLAB for scripting and modeling DSP algorithms
Experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) with an understanding of satellite or communication systems design
Experience with Docker Compose or Kubernetes
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS//SCI Clearance
Work EnvironmentThis role is a hybrid role with 2 days a week being onsite in Warrenton, VA. The total team supporting this program consists of 50 people. The work environment features a fun culture, a hybrid model, and a commercial project feel with open office spaces and the use of laptops and cell phones.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $100.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
