We are actively seeking a dedicated dishwasher to join our team at L'Auberge Provencale. While the position is full-time, we're open to considering part-time applicants. The role primarily involves day shifts and weekends, with some evening shifts included. Our kitchen operates for dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, along with a Sunday brunch. Immediate hiring is our priority.
General Responsibilities:
-Washing glasses, pots, dishes, and kitchen utensils thoroughly.
-Maintaining cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and tidying the kitchen post-shift.
-Collaborating effectively with kitchen and wait staff for a streamlined workflow.
Required Qualifications:
-Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
-Proficient communication skills in written and spoken English are advantageous.
-Basic knowledge of commercial dishwashing operations is necessary.
-Capability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
-Aptitude for teamwork, attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, and cooperation while working with minimal supervision.
-Access to transportation to commute to and from work.
-Ability to attain the essential skills and competencies for a proficient job orientation, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations for a safe work environment.
-Role demands standing and walking for the majority of the workday, up to 6 hours, with task durations varying daily.
-Capacity to multitask calmly and efficiently.
-Flexibility in bending, stooping, squatting, and stretching to accomplish daily tasks.
-Adherence to instructions and executing tasks with precision, speed, accuracy, and follow-through.
-Prompt reporting of equipment malfunctions, linen shortages, maintenance needs, safety hazards, and any other issues to the supervisor.
