We are seeking a non-medical caregiver to provide compassionate, supportive, structured care for our mother on weekday mornings. The ideal candidate has a willingness to listen, because Mom is a storyteller. They should also be gentle, organized, and have excellent attention to detail.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Helping Mom out of bed in the morning
- Making coffee or tea
- Making simple breakfast (cereal, eggs, etc.)
- Preparing simple lunch (sandwich, salad, etc.) for later consumption
- Ensuring Mom takes her morning medications
- Taking out the trash
- Light cleaning
- Changing sheets weekly
- Organizing
- Logging Mom's weight, blood pressure, and blood sugar (electronic reader, no blood draw needed)
The job hours are Monday-Friday, starting around 9am, for 2 hours daily. $15/hour. References must be provided. The selected candidate will be given a background check prior to hiring.
